Dress, grey wool, with tucks
- Description:
- A gray 100% wool dress with the label: "Albert Nipon". It has a low waist which is signified by the end of a series of long vertical tucks started at the neckline and shoulders. There are five of these 1/2" tucks spaced about 1 1/2" apart on each side of the button down center front which has five 1/2" gray-brown buttons. The back of the dress also has 8 of these same tucks, with a 4" space in the middle. The neck facing is circular and flat and comes to a point in the back. The dress has dolman sleeves with a rectangular line. Topstitching appears at the neckline, cuffs and belt, which is self-fabric. The seam binding has "Albert Nipon" woven periodically through it.
